Active in sacred music, choral arts, and musical theatre in northeast Indiana, Greg has been a professional musician, composer, arranger, and conductor for more than 35 years. He has directed musical theatre productions for the University of Saint Francis, IPFW Department of Theatre, Fort Wayne Youtheatre, Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre, Arena Dinner Theatre, Fort Wayne Community Schools, East Allen County Schools, and Southwest Allen County Schools. Greg has also appeared as a performer and/or conductor with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Fort Wayne Children’s Choir, Fort Wayne Männerchor/Damenchor, and Plymouth Boar’s Head orchestra.
Recent conducting and musical direction credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Oklahoma!, Babes in Arms, Godspell, Once Upon a Mattress, Jekyll & Hyde, Aida, The Music Man, Sweeney Todd, The Fantasticks, and The King and I. Greg was commissioned to compose and perform an original ragtime piano score for the IPFW production of Shakespeare’s A Comedy of Errors in 2006.
In addition to his work with the Fort Wayne Männerchor/Damenchor, he is a member of the music technology faculty at the University of Saint Francis, Director of Music at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Director of Operations for the Heartland Chamber Chorale, and Music Director of the Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre.
Greg is married to Kathy; they have two children (Karra and Kristofer) and one grandchild (Emma Katherine). A native of Pittsburgh, Greg and his family have lived in Pennsylvania, Montana, and Ohio before settling in Fort Wayne.
